It is very impressive how you wove the information from your research into this thoughtful and intriguing story. I love how you included not only the locations that petroleum resources can be found, but you also addressed the human/societal connection to the earth's resources. It is an original and interesting story told from the perspective of the organism that makes up petroleum and describes the time required to transform from an organism to petroleum, what we use it for including our Canadian polymer bank notes, places where we find oil including Canada, that it is a renewable resource and that when it is used up, there will not be more for us.

It is clear a lot of work was put in this. Good video overall, I really liked the simple idea to show why/how iron was needed in a pen. Nice explanation of the processing of iron ore.

Very good use of the application Prezi. There is good detail about the range of metals in various types of braces - and the tools used in association with braces - and good detail about where (i.e., mines and minerals, and geographic locations) the raw materials originate. Good job in research and Canadian examples. It answers the key questions well with nice flow from one concept to another.

Interesting concept. An original video on the resources required to make a stainless steel sink. Uses a reference to the Magic School Bus books. Solid science component, plenty of references to Canada and a complete and well annotated reference list.
